This weekend I checked out Print Space, a public darkroom on W. 19th Street. WOW! That's all I can say. The equipment was great, the people were helpful, it was cheap and they played great music (although I listened to my iPod most of the time). This came as a huge relief because I had fallen a few weeks behind in my class and needed to get some printing done to catch up.
